Jill Hennessy

Her diverse heritage comprises Irish and Italians as well as Swedish, French, Ukrainians and Irish. Jacqueline's twin is an actress as well. Growing up, Jill became fluent in various languages like Italian, French and Spanish. Jill began to become interested in the world of acting when she was twelve. At the age of 12, in Toronto she started her acting career in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers. She played an escort along with her twin sister. She then studied improv comedy at Second City under Deb Kimmet. Then, two years later relocated to New York and signed a deal as assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long playing hit TV series Law & Order. In the course of her three-year run, she also spent time doing feature film roles such as RoboCop 3 (1993), Ron Howard's The Paper (1994), as well as I Shot Andy Warhol (1996). Following that her appearances in some forgettable movies. But in 1999, she got a role as the lead in the miniseries uremberg together with Alec Baldwin. Major roles in productions such as Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. She landed a lead role on NBC's crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007, for her role in the show, she was awarded to the show, she received a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Lead in a Drama Series". She got married in 2000 to the actor who played her Paolo Mastropietro. They have two kids. She was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in 2007. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
