Lizzo

LizzoLizzo was a member of a rock-prog group in which she sang and played the flute. Her family moved to Denver and she was all on her own, striving to make Houston her home. Lizzo lived in her car, sometimes slept on carpets in her recording studio , and then showering at the gym. Lizzo's father died when she was twenty-one. They had been friends, and it was a tragic loss. Following the death of her father, Lizzo left the prog-rock group in 2010. Lizzo was able to return to Denver after only a short time in Denver then moved to Minneapolis in 2011, at the request of a close friend. She was soon ensconced in the music scene of Minneapolis. She was a member of the girls' groups Chalice and GRRRL PRTY. Her debut album Lizzobangers was released in 2013 through an independent label.
