Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26 1977) was born in Campinas, Sao Paulo. She has acted on screen in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She is the manager of the Assassination Witness as well as a member of GI-TOC's Multilateral Engagement Team. The GI TOC's research is focused on murders (including disappearances), violence, and other types of crime in relation to illicit economies. Her interests in research also focus on the effects of organised crime on human rights and humanitarian rights as well as legislation and policies. Ana Paula holds an LL.M with a laude cumulus in International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Additionally, she holds an LL.M. as well as an MBA in International Relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree with a magna cumlaude distinction in Legal as well as Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She is a lawyer by training who worked for four years with a public law litigation firm. Other past experience includes assisting in non-governmental organisations with their headquarters at Rio de Janeiro.
